The Dimensional Change Card Sort (DCCS) test is a standard, easily administered procedure for assessing executive function in children. In a study of MFGM- and lactoferrin-enriched infant formula given to 12 months of age, DCCS was used to assess rule learning and flexibility in cognitive reasoning at ages 5.5 to 6.
